Please note: You must complete an application to Ss. Neumann Goretti prior to registering for the Entrance Exam. We can only provide admissions decisions to students who have a completed application on file.
Exam Dates
All 8th graders applying to Saints Neumann Goretti are required to take our Entrance Exam. Students may only take the test once. If your child attends a Catholic grade school in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, please check to see if we are administering our exam at the school prior to registering for one of our exam dates.
About the Exam
The exam consists of one section of reading and one section of math, and is taken online in our school computer lab. The exam is not timed. Most students take about an hour to complete it. Students should bring pencils. They may not bring calculators. Students are free to leave as soon as they finish the exam.
Doors will open 15 minutes prior to the start of the exam and the exam will begin promptly at the scheduled start time. Please use the 10th Street Entrance.
Parent Info Session
While the students take their test, we will hold an Info Session for parents, where we will walk you through the admissions process, share information about Neumann Goretti, and answer questions. Parents are not required to attend the Info Session, but those who have attended in the past have found it helpful.
